Your comment: To turn off autoplay open up my computer. Right click on the drive letter of the cd/dvd drive, Autoplay tab. Much can be done with this. Like not autoplaying a dvd, not autoplaying a cd, then autoplaying a cd with video on it. Kind of cool if you have the time to fool around and make it the way you want.

Question: I did go to autoplay. It had one of several choices - Mixed files, Pics, Video, Music, DVD. For each, it says Select Action or No Action & Prompt. I selected No Action. But when I close & insert a CD (data) the autorun starts immediately.

I must not understand what you're saying. Can you try it again, please.
