Hi. Another sp1 question. I have downloaded it before, but removed it when I couldn't switch to my other identities in oe. Well, last night I put my other identity into eudora, and thought I would download it again. It is taking a crazy amount of time though-- 17 hours. I KNOW it took a long time last time--but not this long (can't remember exactly). Did it take this long for anybody else? The light is still flashing on the tower like it is working. so it's not frozen. The download only took a couple of minutes-it's the installation that's killing me. Just wondering if I should start over. Thanks.

I haven't downloaded or installed it but you have more patience than I can possibly imagine. 17 hours!!! Whew! Is one of your hobbies watching tectonic plate movement? LOL

Actually--I'm about out of patience!! I'm going to reboot that computer, see what happens, and start over if necessary.

Well, I re-booted, and I guess it's installed-according to windows update, I have it, and according to Aida32, and belarc(with no green check beside it). It seems to me I had read alot of people had oe check off the option to stop attachments with possible viruses enabled after sp1, but mine didn't do that. I guess the day will tell if I have problems.
