Running W2K here. Whenever i start up Windows Explorer, the default view is always "My Documents". I then have to click on the + sign next to "My Computer" select the partition i want and drill down to the directory where I have all my correspondence and such.
Does anyone know how to tweak MS Explorer go it will automatically go to a certain partition or directory?

I'll assume that Explorer under Win2k behaves like other Windows.
Make a new shortcut on the desktop and use the following as the target:
%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /e, C:\MyFolder
of course, correct C:\MyFolder to be the actual folder you want to get the focus.
