Hi. I just found out my daughter's Xp account hasn't been able to get on the internet for some time now. She uses the guest account on this computer. All other accounts work fine on the internet, and we all have admin. rights. I wish she had told me right away so I could have tried a restore! Her MSN messenger does work, but not her hotmail, or any other internet. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.:-)
I just did an experiment, by trying Opera on her account( I sometimes use it on mine), and it worked!! So....how the heck do I get IE going again for her?

Create another account for her, do not use the Guest account, that's a known account used by hackers, trojans etc.

Because the guest account is limited to do a lot of things, not for other reason that it is a problem to give that account anything more than basics Rights, (an active Guest account is a security risk, a Guest account with more than the basic rigths is a time bomb)

Thanks Bernard. I tried Opera on my daughter's account, and I can get on the internet, but I can't get IE to work on her account. I will get rid of the guest account when I get hers working.
