I heard that Sony already used this method on the latest Michael Jackson CD. Anyone confirm this? (i dont have the album)? If it is true has anyone managed to crack it yet?
Apparently they managed to do this by adding static background noise to the whole length of the CD meaning if you rip the tracks they just sound like static. This has resulted in them being unplayable in certain CD players, including many CD-Rom's, DVD players and other CD Reading devices.
Any more info on this topic would be most interesting.
