Hi there..
I have a NVIDIA 6800 and installed an extreme driver.(77.77??) At first my image was pretty crappy also.Really washed out and looking extremely contrasty.

One thing you have to do..is make sure that when you bring up your NVIDIA settings window, you have checked..."apply color changes to all". That is located at the top right corner..just down a bit. On mine it gives three options to choose from under "apply color changes to". They are: All,Desktop,and Overlay. When I chose ALL on mine..instead of desktop...things then looked fine. At first even video's looked awful...but choosing the ALL setting clears it up. Oh, and the performance is simply GREAT with the new drivers. Image is still very good to. :-) You all have a good one.
