When I was called to install a network card I figured "no problem. Just shove it in there, configure their internet account and high speed access here we come. I get there, open the brand new network card out of that package (I was also talking with them while I was doing it), insert it in the computer slot, it whent in very easly too. Boot, install the drivers, "card not found". Whatever, I play around with the settings a bit, now I had no clue why it was not found. Finally, I decided to check if it was properly inserted into the pci slot. What pci slot? It was not even in one! I moved it, put it in, configured it and there, it worked. And they thought I knew what I was doing:-)!
