It seems as though I have two MBR that are interacting with each other. When I boot up each morning the computer boots up just fine, but the internet connection icon in the system tray has a red x on it. When I hover over it I get a message that says "No connection-None available"

Have you tried opening a web browser to see if there actually is no connection or are you just assuming that the network icon is correct and rebooting?

I have considered disabling the first boot up in "Device Manager" and see what happens

I don't know what you are talking about. There is no boot up option in Device Manager.

You may have faulty hardware, or you may need driver updates. Please post more detail about your computer hardware(brand/model of computer or motherboard) and whether you are using a wired or wireless connection.
