Thanks for alerting me to Jim's posts. I somehow completely overlooked them, but I have now replied to them.

Thanks for the link and I will check it out more thoroughly in the next couple of days or so. I have company right now so will be unable to do much before that. I did do a little looking and my Intel board is no longer supported so don't know if I can update anything or not. However, I will give it a shot. I will be treading unfamiliar waters by doing so, because I have never flashed the Bios or updated a chip set before, so I will be making a full system backup before I do anything. Still makes me a little nervous.

I may have to just live with it, but hope that it can b resolved. Thanks for hanging in there with me.

I will post back when I get the chance to spend sometime exploring the link options.
