Try to find another power supply that you can test with. If you can't find an identical one, you need to at least make sure the output voltage is the same and the max output current is the same or higher. Of course the plug that connects to the laptop needs to be the same too.

If the problem remains when you connect the other power supply, then the mainboard in the laptop is probably bad.
