565224, Tom no longer supports Restore Program

Tom no longer supports Restore Point and sadly has given up on the project. He claims it is just too unreliable and recommends the free version of Macrium Reflect.
See KJT link to TOMs Restore Point Creator.

That's interesting. Thanks for posting. It's too bad that it can't be fixed as it's much easier and faster to use than Macrium or other backup programs.

I use it to fill in between full monthly backups. So far I haven't had any real problems with it.

Tom's World's link to Macrium doesn't make it easy to find the free version - I couldn't find it but I didn't put a lot of effort into searching for it.

Of course there are free backup programs other than Macrium.

I currently use "AOMEI Backupper".

Jim.

Not familiar with this program. I have used both Macrium Reflect and Aomei Backupper, both free versions, with complete success. I prefer Backupper, and back up weekly.
