From October 1968 to January 28, 1998, I programmed in COBOL for 15 years and then 4th generation languages FOCUS and NOMAD for 15 years.

Although I have built 2 PCs (with help and advice from people on this site), I really know only enough about PCs to be dangerous, but I live in a 55+ retirement community, and, as they say, 'In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king', so I try to help out friends with their PC problems.

BTW, I've decided to buy the Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E500B/AM) for $77.99 from Amazon because it's bigger than the SanDisk and has slightly higher ratings.
