I haven't bought from them for sometime, but tried to get to both of abacus's website and and neither could be reached. I'm thinking that the printer manufactures may have gotten to them. I tried inkjet.com, but their prices weren't very cheap. any recommendations?

It sort of is. It says Abacus, but it's mostly ebay. They do have some 3rd party inks but they're all sold as 4 color packs except for black. I did a search for 3rd party inks and there was a review of the best ones and costco came out the best. You have you be a member and I am.
