My paranoia runneth over. I am currently running Ccleaner, Malwarebytes, Spyware Blaster, and SuperAntiSpyware in addition to Microsoft's Windows Security. I'm finding that I'm having to re-check in to most apps, including PCQandA each time I access the app even when I click on "save". I used to be able to save the check ins and directly start the app. Is the Windows Security app enough? SuperAntiSpyware is a paid edition. What edits can I make to keep the check ins?
Which apps should I keep?
Are there edits I can make to keep my long ins?

I regard SpywareBlaster as an absolute must and I thank you for reminding me it's far too long since I updated it. I remain convinced it's the main reason MalwareBytes doesn't find much.
I was fortunate enough to get the paid version of MalwareBytes just before they switched from lifetime to annual subscription. IMHO it is now the best security program going around, but at the current annual price I wouldn't be using it. Free MalwareBytes, not so much.
I also have the paid version of SAS, but don't run it in background. I find it very useful for tracking cookies, but not much else. I run a scheduled scan every night and that wipes out any tracking cookies that have snuck through the previous day.
I don't regard CCleaner as a security tool, but nevertheless it is a useful tool if used with some care. Over-enthusiastic use of CCleaner could be where you're losing your login cookies.
In general I set up my browsers (I only have six if you count IE) to accept first-party cookies and reject third party ones, and don't allow CCleaner to touch cookies at all. Avoid the Easy Clean option recently added to CCleaner.
My default browser is Opera, and I use Avast Secure Browser for financial stuff (banking, PayPal etc). The others are just there.
No real opinion on Windows Security. I think in my case paid MB beats it to find nasties.
IMHO, nowadays Windows Firewall is perfectly adequate.
