OS=Windows 10 Pro
My printer works fine.

When I install a USB drive into the USB port on the printer.
The printer recognizes the USB drive.
I'm unable to write to the drive because I told the USB drive is write protected.

When I plug the USB drive into my computer I can write to the USB Drive.

How do I remove the read/write protection when the USB drive is installed into my Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4740 printer?

Thank You
TV Man 436

This should give you something to chew on (ruffin's post), https://www.printerforums.net/threads/epson-xp-820-sd-and-usb-flash-card-unable-to-remove-write-protection.66341/.

(I would not mess with DISPART or Windows Registry's, per the OP.)

I solved my problem.
I uninstalled all my Epson printer drivers.
I also removed the USB cable from the printer
installed the newest Epson drivers.
My USB drive works like it shroud.
Thank You for your reply
