I tried to open an attachment that I was expecting with an E-mail.When I tried to open it I got An empty rectangle with a little red square in the upper right corner with an x in it.Next to it was
att122280.jpg .This is the image but how do I get it to open.This is the first time I had this .Do I need to download something my old iron is missing. Thanks

My first guess is that the image file was incomplete or corrupted when downloaded from your ISP. If you successfully receive images as attachments ordinarily from other senders, then ask the sender to send the email again.

If the image still doesn't open, then let us know what browser you and the sender are using. Do you or the sender use AOL? Some ISPs have low limits on attachment file sizes. Is the image file large?

You could have the sender email you a small image file (maybe 10k) to see if that is the issue.

Thanks for the help.No one was able to open the attachment.When it was resent and at a smaller size it was OK.911 has been 2 for 2 in fixing problems for this novice.GREAT SITE!!!
