Mickoz I never thought of them as preditors to prey on livestock. :-( Here in my part of Pennsylvania we have plenty of roadkill to feed the crow and turkey vulture. On a search to find out more on the crow I found this great bird site.

An interesting read in the CROW section is "let's shoot the driver" Here is a paragraph from that article:
"It only stands to reason that a species so finely in tune to their environment as the Corvus brachyrhnchos (American Crow) would have bio-rhythms to match the changing conditions in order to survive for the long haul."
When I see large numbers of birds flocking together it STILL reminds me of Alfred's movie. :'(
Something that still amazes my DH: a turkey vulture flew into the side of DH's truck a few years back, needless to say BUZ did not survive.
