Sad, but probably the majority of vehicles do not have any front-end lighting that goes on automatically. I've learned this long ago and will only buy a car that has auto-on lights, as did my 2001 and 2006 buicks. And btw, they are white in color. The white color does lose some visibility in a winter with lots of snow.
