Tuesday I had knee surgery. When I woke up, felt terrible. Rushed into bypass surgery. 20 years of chest pain diagnosed as reflux. Cardiologist said I was a lucky man. The end was near.

Wow!!! Yesterday was Tuesday and you're able to post already! (Or, was that a week ago Tuesday?)

Either way, glad it was caught in time. You certainly were in a good location to have help available.

Happy you dogged the bullet! All too often it goes the other way.

Glad to hear you're doing well. We're dealing with surgery aftermath here too. Beth's mother had valve replacement and quadruple bypass two weeks ago and it's been a very slow recovery. I know she'll feel so much better in the long term, but the short term is horrible.

It has been a week and I am going home today. The surgeon said that I will be able to anything that I want. 100 percent blockage in 4 vessels. I had incredible luck. After the knee surgery, they noticed a problem. How do you thank so many people who saved your life, and gave your wife back her husband?

Bpass surgery always is a slow recovery. I had it back in 2000 and I'm still breathing (most of the time). Mine was supposed to be a quad, but it te urned out to be only a triple.
