I don't know how anyone else feels but I think the U.S. is poking a Hornet's nest

Needed to be done. For once, Trump listened to the adults in the room. Hopefully it's the start of him continuing to do that and the nihilistic bum, Bannon, and his ilk are on their way out. If the world has four more years of Trump to endure (shudder) hopefully at least we'll do it with grownups influencing the crucial decisions.

For once I agree with James! Needed to be done and was done in a way that sent a strong message and left plenty of latitude for future actions if necessary.

Iagree. For once Trump did the right thing , and in the proper way. He warned the Russians in advance so they could avoid losses. I think a brutal dictator is now on notice that he could be the next target if he launches another chemical attack on his own citizens.

Something needs to be done about Assad, who is possibly a lower form of humanity than Saddam was. Has Trump chosen the right way, and for the right reasons? I don't know.

Perhaps this was in part about telling the sceptical US public that he is not a Putin puppet.

Good reporting by Aljazeera. Plenty of fact and quotes, precious little editorialising and biased opinion.

I agree something needed to be done but North Korea should be on the minds of our leaders in Washington right now. Chemical weapons are no joke but neither are atomic weapons which that fat little degenerate seems to have in his possession now.

Your right on Aljazeera, that's my new world news source now.

The mainstream news in the US should take lessons from them. They might rediscover journalism.

Even the CBC in Canada (A publicly funded Network.) was affected by our previous Conservative Government. Former Prime Minister Harper made sure to stack the board with Conservative donors:

Even though this attack sent a message I'm finding it hard to believe that Trump actually has any empathy left for children whether dead or alive. Putin's pissed off with the attack and it's mission accomplished as far as making the world perceive that Trump has no ties with Putin.
