217976, Donald Trump and golf

Trump, who frequently criticised Obama for playing too much golf, plays on average every six days. And he habitually cheats, in a sport where honesty is paramount.

Someone on Reddit posted this link: http://www.golfwithdonald.com/

Obama took 92 golf trips during his first term at an expense of about $35 million. So far, after just over 6 months, Trump has taken 41 golf trips and has cost the tax payers over $58 million. He's actually cost us 65% more than Obama's entire first term in his first six months. The projection, if he lasts 4 years and golfs at this rate, is that he'll take 307 golf trips and cost US tax payers over $440 million. That's almost $3.50 a second!

Trumps entire career has been based upon cheating in every conceivable way. Don't hold your breath waiting for him to change his ways.

Someone once said, I forget who, that you can usually tell the consciousness of a people in a country by looking at their politicians, they reflect the overall personality of the people. If accurate, I do pray that this does not also apply to the President.

Now he's taking a 17 day "working vacation" at his New Jersey golf club!

Yes, but they are having the White House aka the dump according to #45, renovated while he is working/playing golf. x(

So moving operations to a golf course he owns, with all the associated costs (ie security) is OK then?

What's wrong with Camp David, where a lot of the security is permanently in place? Apart from no golf course, that is.

Camp David would probably be really slumming it for him. He has to line his pockets at our expense. x(

I see from your avatar that you didn't ante up the $400 that Photobucket is demanding.

Here's the image that PhotoBucket is locking away: https: //web.archive.org/web/20060220112939/http: //img.photobucket.com/albums/v60/EMK1028/sigs/05-11-23magavatar.jpg

Corrected URL:

You had a space between the http: and the
//img.photobucket.com

Jim.

Edit: I had to use plain text - otherwise the avatar
displays.

I added the spaces because, when I didn't, the forum script tried to interpret the URL as an image and messed up.

:7 That's what "plain text" is for.

Probably your one chance to use the feature and you missed it.

Although, "plain text" sure is ugly.

But more importantly, how did you find the avatar link in the archive? There may be other members who might wish to recover their
avatar or other posted graphics.

I got the Photobucket link and searched Web Archive for it. There was one entry and I just grabbed the link. I'll admit I was in a hurry and didn't think of using plain text. (Why go for the easy solution when you can go for the complex one? :P )
