It's the day after landfall here near Comanche, Texas, and no rain or high winds have hit us yet. We are, however, inland in what is called "Central Texas" halfway between the DFW Metroplex and Austin. From looking at Accuweather's forecast, we may not even get a shower. The irony is, we could really use some rain.

I have a friend working in Corpus Christi that sent a video to his wife of him and a buddy cooking dinner on a table top grill with holes in the ceiling from the storm. Just foot around holes but holes lol.

Be careful what you wish for. That storm will be around a long time! My hope is tat all affected have minimal damage.

It's now three days after my initial post and we have had no more rain. Today is the first day with mostly sunshine (we've had no appreciable rain through all this, just continuous clouds).
