"In fiscal year 2001, Nike and the Nike Foundation contributed nearly $29 million in cash, Foundation grants and product to various charities, nonprofit organizations and community business partners around the world. US Nike employees donated approximately $1.8 million to charitable organizations. Nike's corporate commitment to employee involvement matched those contributions dollar-for-dollar. Nike matched 41,376 hours of employee volunteer time, for a community investment of $413,760. More than 1,346 different charitable organizations benefited from the generosity of Nike employees."

Have you thought this concept of specific altruistic obligations amoung "rich fat bastards" all the way? Like what defines "rich fat bastard" (is it having a net worth of $1,000? $10,000? $15,000? A million?) Or why this obligation somehow doesn't apply to you, despite it applying to everyone who neatly fits into your concept of rich people?
