Something doesn't ring right here. Why would Lavalys allow another company to market a competing product based upon Lavalys software?
It was Lavalys who purchased or "inherited" AIDA32. This FinalWire may be in violation of Lavalys patents/copyrights.
Update: Lavalys is taking legal action against the individual, a developer who may have been with Lavalys, involved. I will post more info later. For now, I advise proceeding with caution.

Hey its free for licensed or expired licensed users of Everest. Why not use it? Yes they may be sued but until they disable the software it is no skin off my chin. You can evaluate it for 30 days if you are not a Everest user.
Lavalys never purchased or "inherited" AIDA32. There used to be a commercial rights agreement between Lavalys and me (the "individual") that has been terminated and cancelled on October 01, 2010. The intellectual property rights related to AIDA32 and EVEREST has always been, and still is mine. In fact, that's what the quite peculiar Hungarian IP law dictates, so if anyone's interested, you can look it up
Actually, it's not FinalWire or myself, but Lavalys that may be in a position of violating my intellectual property rights. My lawyers will analyse the situation and they will advise me about the next steps to take.
We'll see how that turns out, but one thing is sure: you will see AIDA64 to evolve, and time will tell what happens to Lavalys and EVEREST.

I would appreciate your not directly quoting me to another forum without attribution. However, in this case, let it go.
I've done further research and admit that "inherited" and "purchased" are not accurate. It appears there has been a falling out between Tamas Miklos of Hungary and his Canadian business partner. So Miklos (Fiery) apparently is indeed offering AIDA64 upgrades. It should be interesting to see what happens.

I will not quote you directly again, however remember when you posted it became part of a public discussion on the subject. I could have just as easily posted the URL instead of the quote

Anyone here back on this? I "sent" (using an anon mailer so I suppose it went through) the required information (providing my <free> Everest 4.60 registration page), but never heard back?
Well, just sent the request again - twice, from two different mailers.
And then just got a response back, so maybe my request from the other day didn't go (or went into the bit-bucket):
