"Another PC from the same owner"

This is a Dell N7110 running Win 10. The owner must figure he knows computers but really makes my tasks harder. After finally getting the PC to boot and updating the OS I find multiple directories of Windows.

Windows.old
Windows10Upgrade
Windows Administrator

Can these be deleted? It is not critical to remove for increased disk space but just so un wanted files are removed.

I ran Disk Clean from the OS Properties, and CCleaner. They did not remove these directories.

Just a reason to complete the clean up.

Regards,

Dan K

When you ran Disk Cleanup, did you click the button for Clean Up System Files? This should give you the option to delete some or all of the folders you listed.

Behind every good computer... is a jumble of wires 'n stuff.

Yes I did. I was able to delete most of the files and one I did delete all the files. I could not remove the directory but that is where it's at.

So much for fixing this one.

Thanks,

Dan K
