"Worldstart"

Curious as to why I can't seem to access Worldstarts forum pages.
I seem to have lost contact with the whole site.
Anyone having similar issues or can explain what has happened.

http://forum.worldstart.com/

Thanks
Pacific

According to this - http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/# - the site is down.

Just type the URL in the box.

Thank you both for your replies.

Sorry to see the old site closed.
I have been a member from the old days when I first started PC's
and Worldstart was new.

The Worldstart forum was a free extra provided by the proprietors of the business (online computer gear). The business was no longer viable and when it closed down the forum went with it.

The new site was started up by a couple of Worldstart members, and quite a few of the Worldstart forum members have migrated there.

Thank you Paul.

My ISP referred us to Worldstart for advice in the early days.

Many people have learned very much from all the help and answers from the good people supporting their forum.

It seems to me I remember about three major changes to the website as it grew in the early years. Oh well, nothing lasts forever. May it RIP.

Hi Jane:

I just checked out that forum. Looks like there's a lot of former members from this site. Do you know if it's American based as I'm looking for a decent Canadian forum to avoid U.S. politics and arrogance.

Hi Peter
I have to say I've never come across Canadian PC forum. My first forum was PC911 and so on. Used to be very helpful and I learned much from guys long gone Really miss them all . Worldstart people are very helpful to each other .

My everyday mainstay!

Good luck with that. I've only ever found one Aussie PC help forum and it's hopeless.

The Newworldtech admins are determined that the forum will retain all the good features of Worldstart, but not inherit any of the bad ones.
