Since the release of Windows XP and many people upgrading to Norton Anti-Virus 2002, I've had several dozen emails regarding a failed script message when folks try to use my spell check script from the Internet Explorer context menu. I'll offer my sincere apologies for not investigating this sooner but I've been involved in several other projects.
If you want to use the IE spell checker, you need to change one setting in Norton. Open Norton AV and select "Options". In the selections to the left, under "Other" you want to select "Miscellaneous". Remove the check in the box for "Enable Office Plug In" As long as you've not turned off the Office feature that warns you about the presence of macros, this change in Norton should not make you vulnerable, assuming that you don't double click on scripts from strangers
