I just bought a new hard drive for my computer. I was wondering if I should take any precaution when installing it in my computer. Can I just install it regularly(put it in the computer and plug in the IDE cable) and let the computer does all the recognization? or do I need to disable something such as old drivers or whatever. Also, if I take that same hard drive out and install it in a another computer, will I need to format the hard drive first? thanks
