"Final Computer specs. Will pick up on Thursday."
Sun Dec-16-01 09:31 PM

Finally after much procrastination have finally ordered my Xmas present. Mark099 advised on the parts.

17" ATX Case w/450W Enermax Power Supply
AMD Athlon XP 1600+ CPU OEM Thermaltake Volcano 6 Cu
MSI K7T266 Pro 2 mainboard PC2100 512MB DDR
Maxtor 40GB 7200rpm ATA100
LG 52x CDRom Liteon
24x10x40x CDRW w/software
AOpen 10/100 Ethernet Card
ATI Radeon 8500 64MB Retail build by ATI
Panasonic 1.44MB floppy

The whole unit will cost $1654 CDN or $1067 US.

The only decision is whether I should use my current Voodoo5 5500 or the more modern Radeon 8500.

Will run on Windows XP Home Edition.

Anyway feel excited, like a kid again.

Guns don't kill people. Husbands who come home early kill people.

Extra cool specs, scaramouche! The Radeon 8500 is definitely a finer choice. Sell the Voodoo. Or if you like, you could use the Voodoo, bring back the Radeon 8500, and use the extra money to upgrade to an Athlon XP 1800/2000! Hehe!
