"video doesn't run smoot in full screen"

when i play a video on my laptop in reduce size, it would run smoothly. when i full screen it or zoom it bigger, the video doesn't run smooth at all, it kinda like go frame by frame..like the picture has a sudden stop then go through out the video(sorry, so hard to explain). is it because i don't have enough memory to run full screen?
it's an ibm laptop with win2000 install and have about 96mb ram.
thanks

More memory would definitely help things. Look up your model at crucial.com to find the maximum amount of memory it will take. Even if you max out the memory, you may still have an older processor that won't give optimum results. Most laptops are not designed with gaming in mind.

Behind every good computer... is a jumble of wires 'n stuff.
