"unable to connect"


          

i seen this problem on a couple of computers where there's a connection on the systray but could not connect to the net. sometimes when it does that on my laptop, i just restart and it pick up the connection. i tried the same thing on my friends comptuter but no luck. the network is fine because other computers can connect just fine. does anybody have this problem?

I have seen that with Webroot's Spysweeper and XP with SP2.
Not sure if that applies to you.

Have you scanned for spyware using Spybot and Ad-aware?

After you use these programs try Winsock Fix.
