I installed Windows 10 this morning as an upgrade from 8.1 and I am regretting it already. I am legally blind and as a result I always change the view in file explorer to “detail view” and change to a larger font size set to BOLD. I have searched the web in vain to find a way to do this in W10. Does anyone know how to do this? I am willing to change the registry if need be.

Right click on the screen and choose Display Settings. There is a slider on the App window from 100% recommended to 175%. This would be the same as changing DPI in the other operating systems. This will change the size of everything on the desktop.

After poking around I found you can go to the Control Panel, Fonts, Change Font size and change the size as well as check a box for Bold. Between the two methods you should be able to adjust everything so you can see it better. This will change the size of the font only.
