"Web page not displayed"

This interesting 'problem' happened yesterday. I went to the Best Buy web site using MS Edge to look at an order. Went to order Status and it wanted me to log on with my password. Silly me I just changed it and forgot to write it down. So I called their help line. They said just put in your order number in the Guest checkout. I did not see the Guest checkout portion of the screen
After many attempts to observe this input section, I closed Edge and opened Firefox. What to my wondering eyes should appear but the Guest checkout portion of the screen.

I used another Win 10 Edge PC and it did show the Guest portion.

Any ideas why only the left half of the page was displayed?

This is on an ASUS Essentio tower that has been upgraded from win 7 to 10. It also crashed about 3 weeks ago after the latest MS update. I have been able to rebuild it. I did have to change my email from Outlook to Thunderbird. Don't remember why but I could not get Outlook to accept my email configuration. That's another story.
Regards,

Dan K

Hello, there are many dependencies of loading a website such as all the images and scripts that run. A big site like Bestbuy does not have everything on one web server, instead they run a network of servers some on web servers which are contracted out. It appears by looking at some of my Twitter feed that one of the contractors web server had a slow response. Perhaps if this problem persists, a good cookie removal program such as ccleaner could help you get all of the residue from the previous visit out of the system so you can get a good fresh view with the website. Cookies sometimes remain even if one were to press F5, close their web browser or restart their computer. A more complicated method is to use private mode or use a different browser profile such as the how to geek article below explains. It is possible to use other methods other than cookies to have the relay entry point access the targeted information on the web server. I have inserted the wikipedia article for your enjoyment purposes only as to how this works.
