"Windows 10 won't boot"

I'm using a Toshiba S75Dt laptop with 1 TB HDD and an AMD A10 processor. Last night the computer was operating properly. This morning no boot.
Automatic Repair does nothing
Trying to reinstall saving files fails
Trying System Restore fails. I had set SR up but the restore points were probably wiped out during the last update and I forgot to restart SR and make a new Restore Point.
Tried to restore the boot sectors with various bootrec commands but no success.
I would appreciate any suggestions as to what to try besides wiping out everything and reinstalling windows although I do have a File History and Macrium backup. But I'd really like to find another solution.
Any Ideas???

Pretty much sounds like the hard drive is failing. Can you do hard drive diagnostics to confirm?
