W10 and IE11. There are a few websites where I get a message saying I may not read unless I disable my ad blocker. Very disconcerting, as I do NOT have an ad blocker installed. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Check IE's Tools>Internet Options>Privacy tab to make sure that you don't have the built-in blocker turned on. If so, uncheck the Pop-up blocker setting.
I may be overlooking the obvious but in IE what/where is the "stop button"? Do you mean the "x" that appears briefly at the end of the Address Bar while a page is loading?
I get that same message when reading some New York newspapers. It is annoying and hope it isn't a trend to force users to not use an ad blocker. My response is that I just don't visit that page anymore. We also have power. Users UNITE! Down with the dictatoral NY rags.
