"Hung-up Windows 10 update"
Fri Jan-19-18 04:02 PM by Stevehiker

The update has been sitting at 99% for at least 8 hours and it's not responsive. This is on my Acer desktop with a dual boot of Windows 7 and Windows 10. Any solutions?

Edit: I should add that it is responsive enough to be able to hide it and I am able to get online with Firefox, but not with Google Chrome.

You have far more patience than I'd have!

I'd reboot and see what happens.

Jim.

It's working! I just got back after being gone for a few hours, and there was the screen with the "working on updates" and "your PC will restart several times". It will be interesting to see what shape the system will be in when it's done.

Edit:
Looks like everything is fine; Google loads okay, so I guess I'm good.
