"Unwanted space"


          

This pertains to my wife's computer. Since I am not familiar with Windows 10, I don't know how to remedy the problem. I attached an image that may clarify it. Sorry for the poor image quality. This is only happening in Chrome.

Not quite sure what I'm seeing so this is a guess.

Right click the desktop shortcut icon, select Properties. On the shortcut tab, click the down arrow for RUN. Set it to Maximized and OK your way out. Then, start the browser.

I have seen strange display formatting on google. I found that if you delete all cookies for google.com, the display will return to normal.

Somehow I solved the problem by clicking on this symbol ^ in the toolbar. I really don't know what I did, but the problem has been solved.
