Is there a tweak or extension or tool that will enable site links displayed in the bookmarks bar to be opened in a new tab or a new window with a single left mouse click instead of having to right click site links and select either a new tab or a new window from the context menu that opens?
Thanks for replying. I am aware of holding Ctrl and left clicking. But it's not an acceptable solution for me if there is a tweak or extension that can enable single left clicking on the link.
I have an ancient program that adds links to IE's Command Bar that, in appearance, look similar to Chrome's bookmarks bar's links but which, by default open the links in a new window with a single left click. If it's possible, this, or in a new tab, would be what I am looking for.
That's an interesting idea. So far, I haven't found a way to set it to do an automatic Ctrl + left click. But I'll keep at it and post back if I figure it out.
In the meantime, it dawned on me (Duh!) to simply click the + sign to open a new tab and then click the desired link. For me it's easier to make two quick left clicks than either using the keyboard or the context menu.
