I running a ryzen 3 2200 g with a Asus prime b450m a motherboard.

And core temp shows the core speeds jumping all over the place as Well as the voltage. Voltages neber go above 1.4. also sue I run prime 95 I get a error as one core will drop off and it's amramdom core every test. Any ideas on what's causin it? I'm Thinking it's my psu but not sure (psu is a corsair gs500)

Have you checked memory speed and voltage compatibility with the motherboard, is the heat sink properly seated? All the usual stuff.

Besides checking it with another power supply and making sure Asus recommends the ram, I don't know what to say. I have had very few problems with Asus motherboards but it does seem to point to instability with the voltages. Could be a power supply or the motherboard. The temps seem a little high to me but I am not running your class of CPU, just an old FX8350 @ 4.01 MHz on a Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 with 32GB of ram. You might contact both companies tech support and check to see if anyone else on the Internet is having the same problem.

There is also a possibility that Prime95 is not playing nicely with Ryzen. I cranked my CPU up to 4.34GHz. I think the highest temps on mine are in the 52 C range but it seems the Ryzen operates normally at temperatures higher than yours.
