"Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection"

Just got an email regarding Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection, with a charge of $299.99. I didn't order this and believe it to be a scam. Can I just ignore it? Will check for any charges in my banking, but don't think there will be any shown. Comments?

This was in the email:

Almost definitely a scam, but definitely check for charges. Remember, you never have to pay for anything you didn't order.

I agree. The scammers are getting better. I'm older, a lot older, and maybe a little wiser.
