"Creative CDRW"


          

just picked up a used cdrw drive and am haveing not much luck finding the drivers for it. i check out the creative.com site but counldn't find the model, also tryed to check with windrivers.com but you need a log/pass to get in. any help with the drivers would be great. the drive is a
Creative
Model# RW8433E
Manufactured May,2000

I have the creative 8432 model, and i haven't had to download any special drivers. Windows 98, 2000, and XP have all been able to use it just fine with the drivers the OS installs.

thx just wanted to make sure before i installed it and found out that i needed the drivers disk. thx again for getting back to me so fast.

I had a 4224E, the only reason you would need a driver is if you needed to run the drive in DOS.

My drive came with a floppy containing the DOS drivers.
