From the developer: "VisualZone Report Utility is an intrusion analyser for ZoneAlarm and ZoneAlarm Pro. It displays a clear overview of all intrusions and allows you to analyse the information in lots of different ways. VisualZone can perform a backtrace to try to find even more information about the intruder. You can even automate the process so that a backtrace is performed automatically when new attacks are detected. VisualZone can also submit intrusion attempts to DShield.org for further analysis."

Yes, I installed it the other day, and it works very well. It's an easy way to find out all kinds of things. Has a lot of very useful features all bound to one program. I don't run it at start up, just turn it on every once in a while when I have a question about who's knocking at my door. Since I have cable access these are nice things to know.

I discussed this with Marti last week and we both think it is an interesting program. I ran all the usual against it (Ad-aware and Norton AV). I didn't save the correspondence, but I think we just decided that it was O.K. Personally I think it is a well written little package and a way to check out those little incidents that seem to catch your eye (several hits from the same site) if you feel the need.

Tuff recommended it to me, but it didn't like something on my system...starting getting those "Windows has recovered from a serious error" messages like every 10 seconds...uninstalled it, rebooted, and it seemed ok ...don't think it was the OS (XP Pro), i think it was just not working with my other programs.
I can't understand why anyone cares about who the intruder is. ZA does its job by making your machine invisible to an intruder, and than you want to go out and risk informing that intruder that you are actually there! Think about it.
