Has anyone had this update interfere with the disconnect prompt that appears when you close an internet window (to remind you to log off from the ISP)? On my system, NAV has always disabled that feature with updates or when it quarantines a virus, but it always is enabled after the reboot.
I haven't noticed any difference since I downloaded the update. But I have experienced what you describe which I attribute to NAV scanning incoming/outgoing messages. If no messages are received/sent during a session, the pop up appears. If messages are received, then it doesn't. (I have disabled the outging NAV scan.)
I've found that when I close all open IE/OE windows, if the disconnect dialog doesn't appear, simply clicking on my desktop IE icon as if to open it, and then without waiting for it to actually load my homepage, I click on the "X" to close it, the disconnect will appear. (How's that for a run-on sentence!)
