"Okay, what's the deal with the smilies?"


          

Why when I use the smilie menu does it not put the actual smilie face I select but the keyboard symbols used to create it?

I can see them all in your post, freespitei.

When using them, which I do a lot, I leave a single space between the last letter, or punctuation mark, as per here :):)

Perhaps that is my problem. You can see in my second post it didn't work. :'( , but I'm willing to keep on testin to see if you threory is correct or notx( .

Alright, so they worked this time. The exception! My post #15, to O.D. in the thread about borrowing 90 some bucks is an example. I swear on a stack of rare issues of Paranoia Magazine, this is the truth. I would do another test here but I'm paranoid it will wor

Go to #15, click edit and you will see that you didn't space before adding the smiley. Just as you didn't in the post above following the word "work" in the final sentence. I've added the space so you can see the difference between the way your post appeared originally an how it appears now with a space added.
