lol and I thought it was only or mainly our administration they scoffed at. Maybe it's us also. Or at least it is to this one person. I doubt anyone else in the world thinks Americans are loony for turning the Britney, Nicole, Paris, Lindsey situations out of proportion.

Obviously, you have never been exposed to the tabloids in Britain, France, Germany, or italy. Whereever you find a free press you will find disproportionate attention to such material because itsells newspapers and TV ratings. The only sad comentary is that such fluff is all that most people are interested in. America has no monopoly on ignorance. It is a primary human trait. Fortunately we also receive most of the Nobel prizes.

Frankly my dear I don't give two hoots in hell what the rest of the World thinks.And I don't believe that there are many true Americans that do. Just my opinion.
