I picked up a second-hand laptop yesterday - a Dell Latitude PIII 500 with docking station. As it came from a friend, I didn't bother turning it on as I was in a hurry. Got it all plugged in... d*mned BIOS password!

Now I've got to wait for him to wake up before I can dig into it :'(

They are so convenient. Also, there are a ton of accessories on eBay for that model. I guess it's easier for you to wait for your friend to wake up than to bust into the case and take the battery out.
