Well California is bad....Cheapest in Marin County is over $1.80 but I just flew into Las Vegas this morning and drove to St. George Utah and the prices here aren't much better. So don't feel like we're the only ones eating high prices... They're happening in these three states.

Gas here in Fl is about the same price as all over the southeast.
I paid 1.80 for plus today before going to Tampa for a daylily club meeting.

Price for regular in Jacksonville is around $1.65, but rising about five cents a week lately. The word is it should stabilize for a while near the current price...I hope so.

My heart bleeds for you!

We're paying $3.60 a gallon, and I think the Brits are worse off than us.

But you don't use most of your country and the Brits can walk across theirs

Hmmm... 75-79p per litre = approx. US$1.50.

I forget how many litres there are in a US gallon, you have to just go and make them a different size to the UK gallons...

I spend around £30 per week on fuel, and I drive a small economical car.

The high cost of fuel is supposed to be an incentive to use public transport. To get the train from my house to the office would take 2.5 hours and involve one change, as long as everything goes as it should. Driving takes 45 minutes. Guess which I'd rather do!

A US gallon is a tad under 4 liters. US Gallon = 128 ounces, Imperial Gallon = 160 ounces.

There we go then, $6 per US gallon I'm paying!

It's probably cheaper for you to buy it for me from your local gas station and ship it over to me
