It's that time of year. Time for the Annual Fundraiser. As you may or may not know, a site such as PCQandA requires a bit of money to run. We're looking to raise $400 to cover our annual costs.
If you'd rather send a check or a money order (in US Dollars -- sorry, but we can't accept International Money Orders at this time), make it out to Jason Levine and click here for sending instructions (and to send a notification to me that your check is on its way):
Be sure to print out the page that results to include with your check/money order. It will help me identify who the donation comes from. (Otherwise, I can't send a thank you e-mail.)
Curious just how close we are to our goal? Check out the top of this page for the most up-to-date figure. (Payments are added to the total manually, so don't expect the figure to update the minute you make a payment.)
One last note. You'll notice that we didn't have an annual fundraiser last year. That's because our 2015 fundraiser did so well that we were all set for 2016. If we do well enough this time around, we might not need a fundraiser in 2018 either. (Consider it a challenge.)
With our fundraiser a mere five days old, we're already halfway there. I think it might be a PCQandA record if we can wrap this up in under 2 weeks. Keep those donations coming in. Every little bit helps. And thanks to those who have already donated!
Come on, guys, seems like the cash flow has stalled a bit. You gotta keep those contributions coming, otherwise you'll no longer have the wit and wisdom of James to guide you through each day. And that would be a tragedy of incalculable proportion.

How true!
But the total hasn't been updated in awhile so we may be a lot closer than it appears.
Jim.
I just saw that the total has been updated - It's kind of disappointing - I thought the amount would be higher. Maybe the members don't find your wit and wisdom enough of an inducement to warrant a contribution.

As you can see, we're a mere $140 away from finishing the fundraiser. I'm thinking of sweetening the pot a bit. Would anyone donate more if I gave away a signed copy of my book to the person who donated the most? (I'd count it pre-Paypal fees so you could donate a second time to up your amount.)
Murray Gastev is anything but ordinary. He's a thief for hire and a good one at that. He completes his latest job but ends up with far more than just the cash he expected to receive. He finds he now has the ability to pass through walls and float. There are just two small problems: He can't breathe while he 'ghosts' and he can't control where he floats to. With the help of some new friends, Murray might learn to control his powers and may even pull off his biggest heist yet. If he doesn't end up being sliced to ribbons first.
If anyone's interested, I'll give a signed copy away to the person who donates the most.
We're at 70% of our goal. Only $120 left to raise. To anyone who has donated, thanks. To anyone who still hasn't donated, please send in a donation. Even small donations help.
At this point, it's been a week since our last donation. We're still only $120 away from our goal. We have enough funds right now to last through October. After that, if no more funds come in, we'd be forced to shut PCQandA down. Please donate what you can to keep this site running.
It APPEAERS WE are still short of our fundraising goal to raise a measly $400 t0 keep this site going. we have not seen a new donation since January 29th!
We are about $85 short so I am taking the opportunity to say goodbye before PCQandA goes dark.
I started this fundraiser post a month ago and I'm happy to report that we've reached our goal. I know we have at least one mailed donation outstanding. Other than that one, you should have received a thank you e-mail from me if you donated. Thanks to everyone who donated. You've helped to keep this site running another year.
