Good. Even if Trump wanted to claim this was for security's sake, why exclude countries whose citizens have killed Americans and include ones whose citizens haven't killed Americans?

The countries he excluded are ones where he has business operations.

No conflict of interest there!

I am not a Trump, fan, but am very, very cautiously optimistic about what he may be able to do for the USA.

Since the holier than thou brainiacs on here have poor memories (seems like 4 years at a time) your messiah Obama created that list, not the Donald.

And yes, Saudi Arabia needs to be included.

This is still relating to the Muslim ban; even more scary:

Looks like they are still going to enforce it though:

This might provoke a Constitutional Crisis if the executive branch ignores what the Judicial Branch tells it to do.

For awhile, the Judicial Branch was completely absent from the WhiteHouse.gov website. (As of right now, it's not linked to from https://www.whitehouse.gov/1600/executive-branch .) Going to the page (https://www.whitehouse.gov/1600/judicial-branch) actually gave you a 404 error. As people on social media noticed this, though, it looks like they've restored the page.

Right. But only from countries where the Donald has no business interests.

Saudi Arabia is now and has always been the biggest danger to the USA. That's where the money comes from that supported Al Qaeda and is now supporting ISIS.

That's apart from the Donald's good buddy in Russia, of course.

When will you people realise what you have done? He has alienated to varying degrees the Koch brothers, Dick Cheney, the Murdochs, John McCain...the list is endless, and that's just on the Republican side.

He has removed the chairman of the JCS and the director of national intelligence from the NSC and replaced them with Stephen Bannon, a racist misogynist Islamophobic journalist who IMHO represents an even greater threat to USA and the world than Trump himself, since Trump's opinion is usually that of the last person he spoke to, and he clearly intends talking to Bannon quite a lot.

He WILL eventually be impeached. It's just a matter of time.

If MadDonald and his neofascist gang have their way you'll soon awaken from the nightmare you've inflicted on the world to no country worth protecting.

Sure you do but you do realize the States have had one of the most stringent vetting processes in the world for a long time.Calling it a travel ban rather than a Muslim ban might get around your constitution but it doesn't really fool anyone.I hope you realize while ISIS recruiting had hit an all time low this will probably cause a surge in numbers as it's a perfect tool for those wishing you harm. This is all smoke and mirrors to satisfy you Trumpers with no real thought as to consequences.

Then why those 7 countries whose citizens have killed a total of 0 Americans since 1975? Why not add Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and other countries whose citizens actually HAVE killed Americans?

Also, if keeping us safe is the goal, will we ban white Canadians from entering the US after that right-wing, white, Trump-supporting Canadian shot up that Mosque? Those white extremists can be dangerous too.

Trump claims he is protecting you from terrorism, not from Muslims. What that white Islamophobe Trump admirer did in Canada was every bit as much terrorism as any act by the Muslim lunatic fringe.

Your post could be read as suggesting that terrorism AGAINST Muslims is somehow not as bad as terrorism BY Muslims. I do realise that's probably not your intent, but...

Edit: OK, I misunderstood your post, so now I'm correcting you, because you couldn't be more wrong, and I trust you're suitably embarrassed. As has already been pointed out "those Muslim guys" were one (singular) white far right Trump fan.

Whoops.
