Trump is now pointing fingers at everyone besides himself for the bill's failure. He now threatens to just let Obamacare "explode" like a spolied 2 year old rather than working on fixing it.Any and all attempts to fix any part of it has been obstructed since Republicans took control of the House. They just wanted to repeal it because it was a Democrat sponsored bill with no thought of how it affected ordinary Americans.

It will be interesting, but just remember the 12.5 million who lost their insurance and had to get Obamacare, that a lot found they could not afford from the beginning. I had a customer with a small successful construction company, married with three children. He had to fold the company and go to work as a County building inspector just to get insurance he could afford.

Well fix it and improve it don't scrap it just because it had Obama's stamp on it.They tried to bully a rather poorly thought out replacement and they had 7 years through and it didn't work what a surprise.

There is an old joke that Trump brings to mind:

A man flying in a hot air balloon suddenly realizes he’s lost.
He reduces height and spots a man down below. He lowers the balloon further and shouts to get directions, "Excuse me, can you tell me where I am?"

The man below says: "Yes. You're in a hot air balloon, hovering 30 feet above this field.""You must work in Information Technology," says the balloonist.

"I do" replies the man. "How did you know?"
"Well," says the balloonist, "everything you have told me is technically correct, but It's of no use to anyone."

The man below replies, "You must work in management."
"I do," replies the balloonist, "But how'd you know?"

"Well", says the man, "you don’t know where you are or where you’re going, but you expect me to be able to help. You’re in the same position you were before we met, but now it’s my fault."

Report: Bannon told conservatives \'this is not a debate,\' you have to back bill

Quote:

Bannon confronted members of the House Freedom Caucus earlier this week during the White House's push for the American Health Care Act, Axios's Mike Allen reported Saturday in his newsletter.

"Guys, look. This is not a discussion. This is not a debate. You have no choice but to vote for this bill,” Bannon reportedly said.

A Freedom Caucus member reportedly replied: “You know, the last time someone ordered me to something, I was 18 years old. And it was my daddy. And I didn't listen to him, either."

I'm not a fan of the Freedom Caucus, but I would have loved to have been in the room at that moment.

And my favorite comment from the Reddit thread on this article:

Quote:
Awww. Poor wittle fascist fell down and hurt himself on separation of powers? Did it make a boo boo?

Trump and Bannon tried to bully this bill through and they failed. With Trump's approval ratings dropping and the specter of a Russia investigation hanging over his Presidency, it'll be a lot easier for Republicans to oppose him. His first 100 days aren't up yet and that's typically the EASY time for a President. By the end of this, he's going to wish he'd never entered the race.

Let's not forget that the Republicans didn't kill this bill out of any concern for the 45 million people it benefited. They killed it because it wasn't savage enough for them and their puppet masters at the health funds. This one is not a victory for common decency over Trump (well, not directly, anyway)

To be fair, there was a group of moderate Republicans also. When Trump tried to placate the far-right Freedom Caucus, he lost votes from the moderate Republicans. If he had tried to gain moderate Republican votes, he would have lost the Freedom Caucus. The GOP is fractured into two or three separate parties that want vastly different things.
